MILK CARTON HAUNTED HOUSES

Use any size of carton, from an individual sized lunch carton to a half gallon. Cut out a door and some windows and cover entirely with black construction paper. Add some cute halloween stickers and glitter, maybe some candy corn and pumpkins, and you have an adorale decoration that your kids can help create. For an extra spooky touch, add an LED tealight. Create one house, or an entire village!

Autumn has arrived!

Since school is out this Thursday and Friday - share these cute autumn-themed crafts and treats with your little ones.

FALL LEAF MOBILE
Create fall leaf cutouts from construction paper, fine cardboard or felt. Tape the leaves to thin ribbons, string or twine. Attach each string to a small branch and hang it where it can spin freely for all to enjoy!

YUMMY!!! Give these cookies a try - they will become one of your favorites.

Butterscotch Oatmeal Cookies

3/4 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
3 cups rolled oats
1 12oz pkg butterscotch chips

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
In a large bowl beat the butter and sugars together. Add the eggs and vanilla, beating well.
Stir together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and stir until blended. Stir in the oats and the butterscotch chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until the edges begin to brown.

Be sure to call for an appointment - we really do try to keep the busy times at a minimum so you don't have to wait very long.
For those of you who want an 8x10 for your children's Watch Me Grow albums and smaller ones to share (don't forget Grandmas - they love their grandkids) . . .
The Halloween Basic still starts at $35 and includes one 8x10 and two 4x5s - other variations are also available.
