Use any size of carton, from an individual sized lunch carton to a half gallon. Cut out a door and some windows and cover entirely with black construction paper. Add some cute halloween stickers and glitter, maybe some candy corn and pumpkins, and you have an adorale decoration that your kids can help create. For an extra spooky touch, add an LED tealight. Create one house, or an entire village!

Butterscotch Oatmeal Cookies
3/4 cup butter, softened 3/4 cup sugar 3/4 cup packed brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp salt 3 cups rolled oats 1 12oz pkg butterscotch chips
Preheat oven to 375 degrees In a large bowl beat the butter and sugars together. Add the eggs and vanilla, beating well. Stir together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and stir until blended. Stir in the oats and the butterscotch chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until the edges begin to brown.
