Santa arrived right on time to visit the many children who came to express their Christmas desires.
It's always so much fun to see the children with Santa.

Ririe held their Masquerade Ball at the Shelton on the 5th. The guys were mighty handsome in their tuxes and the girls were stunning in their gorgeous dresses. It was a fun event! Thanks to Chayla for asking us to cover their dance!

Nutcracker Performance - Friday Night

You can view the rest and purchase them online at hymasimage.com We're really sorry that we weren't able to cover the Saturday night performance, too. (we had a Masquerade Ball that night) I usually cover at least one night for Idaho Ballet to use for advertising, but since there was not a CD available for purchase this year, I had many Moms request the opportunity to purchase whatever I was able to capture.

Halloween was so much FUN . . . . and here are some of the little spooks that came by to give us a scare. I'm really sorry for being so slow this year but I sure did enjoy the few days that we were able to spend in Oregon visiting our kids and playing with the grandkids. We're home now and expecting all the Halloween images to be ready for pickup by Friday of this coming week. You can drop by then to pick yours up.

We're looking forward to seeing lots of little spooks today and tomorrow. Drop ins are welcome, but if you could call for appointment, it will help keep your waiting time to a minimum. Each family receives one FREE 4x5, treats are being given out and we are offering a package so Mom's can put 8x10's in their children's "Watch Me Grow" albums. Come join the FUN - you'll have a boooo-tacular time!

I'm back! Have been at Convention this week in Utah. Great time - saw old friends, learned lots and even had a couple images do well in competition. Two of my prints will hang at Nationals this summer: "Grant Me Strength" (above) Jeff Lane from Rigby and "Little Money Man" (below) McKean Anderson from Idaho Falls. "Little Money Man" also received a Fuji Masterpiece Award. Yeah! That made my day!

Please Take Note: Halloween scheduling is changing a wee bit. Evelyn will still be photographing on Thursday, October 29th from 10 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon, but Tasha will be photographing Friday from 10 to noon and again from 2 to 4. As appointments are being made, we're finding those are the most desirable times. Call soon, time is filling up fast.

PLAYING IS SO MUCH FUN! and that's pretty much what we did all last week. We had lots of children in and I loved every minute of it. Ryan was full of energy, giggles and smiles, but I was able to capture a serious one here and there. Here's a couple of her adorable images.

Here's Demee Neilson. As you can see, she is such a cutie and so full of expression.

The Neilson kids always come around their birthdays for updates in their "Watch Me Grow" books. The family are big Bronco Fans so Kohl and Daizee came decked out in their Bronco attire. Daizee cheered Kohl on as he threw and ran the ball.

We had the Anderson children in for a family portrait including Grandma and then we did some of the kids on the fence. They had a great time coming up with different ways to hang on the fence. This was my favorite.

Rigby Lake Portraits

These kids were the greatest. Sage, Bailee and Averi Cole! We first scheduled them for the middle of September when it was still on the warm side, but with sickness, weather and work schedules, we weren't able to photograph them until last week. Even tho it was on the chilly side, the lighting was gorgeous and we really got some fun prints . . . . . but I'm sure all three were ready for some hot chocolate by the time we were done.

Last Chance to Fish

The little boys have had the funnest time playing in our fishing pond. Real water to splash in, frogs to hunt, and live looking worms to put on a cool old fishing pole have made this set the favorite with the boys.

Here are 30(ish) of the most talented girls you will ever meet! We love the Rigby Troyettes! They have their eyes on Nationals and they have what it takes to get them there. We wish them the best of luck!

It's a BOO-mazing event!

We are still doing Halloween Pictures even tho our schedule is a little crazy this year. We have a grandson playing football in Prosser, Washington on Friday and a granddaughter that is dancing in an Irish Dance Competition on Saturday in Portland, Oregon.

Needless to say that is where we are heading the minute we close on Thursday. Just can't miss our grandkid's activities. They're what makes life so fun!
